Dakshesh Patel was previously with NBW Partners UK where he was advising leading global shipping group in the management of their treasury operations. He is a Co-Founder and Board Member of eLogistics UK where he raised $10m in VC financing to develop the initial business concept and led an MBO of the business. He was also a Co-Founder and Non-Executive Director of Yespay International UK where he was responsible for strategic development of Chip and Pin Bureau service and set up technology development centre in India. From 1998-1999 he was Co-Founder of Longbridge Capital UK, a boutique financial consultancy business specializing in project finance and acquisitions. Corporate advisory mandates at Longbridge included: mining group seeking acquisition of a London listed conglomerate. Longbridge advised on the transaction and strategy for acquisition including stake building; exit of Hyundai Network Systems by Hyundai Corporation; initial advisory work on placement of $150m equity for large mobile telco in India; project advisory mandate for $300m power project refinancing in Malaysia; and advising Indian corporation in the project financing of a private hospital concept in India. From 1997-1998, he was with NatWest Markets, Global Debt Markets Division as Chief Financial Officer with 110 staff under direct control. Mr. Patel structured and led the first CDO in Europe for the NatWest Corporate Debt book with two placements with a total value $10 billion. Following acquisition of Greenwich Capital in 1996, he assumed responsibility for all aspects of the finance function for both the capital markets and structured finance activities. Prior to he was Finance Director of the Global Structured Finance & Investment Banking (NatWest Markets) responsible for global team of 50 people. He also served as Financial Controller, Banking & Specialised Finance (NatWest). From 1991-1994 he was manager, leasing and tax (NatWest) where he set up new leasing unit in conjunction with business head. From 1984-90 he was with Deloitte Haskins & Sells, London, Abu Dhabi, and Southern Africa where he was lead manager responsible for major listed corporations in Southern Africa and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. In 1987 he received his certification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Zimbabwe (first time pass). 1979-82 he completed his BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from Ealing College, London.
